Special Programs: Zucker School of Medicine College Pipeline Program

The Zucker School of Medicine College Pipeline Program is a six-week summer program to help top college students become competitive applicants for admission to the Zucker School of Medicine and other medical schools. It is a comprehensive program that offers the following learning sessions: Science enrichment courses for rising sophomores in physics, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology; MCAT preparation for rising college juniors, and research experience for rising college seniors. Students must participate in each level of the SOM-CPP Program.

The application is free and each admitted student gets a $1250 annual stipend to attend the summer sessions that start early July and end mid August (6 weeks). There is a linkage to the Zucker School of Medicine that states that students who excel in the SOM-CCP program AND demonstrate strong performance on the MCAT Exam will be “highly considered” for direct matriculation to the Zucker School of Medicine.
